FAQs
How does the Plugin differ from the BeatStore monthly membership?
The plugin has no monthly fee. The plugin purchase includes one year of support and updates, which you can renew at the end of one year. The Plugin requires you to have your own WordPress website and hosting, whereas with a membership this is provided by us. The BeatStore Plugin does not require a monthly membership on BeatStore.co.
Does this require any other plugins to run?
BeatStore plugin requires Easy Digital Downloads to run. (Don't worry, it is free.) As the documentation points out, it will be installed and activated while installing BeatStore.
Are there multiple skins available?
For current player (2019) there is a dark skin with customizable primary color. For classic/legacy widget there are two skins (light and dark) currently available
What music formats does the player support?
The Player supports MP3 playback only. You can upload WAV or AIFF music to be delivered to customers after making a purchase.
The license key did not activate successfully, what should I do?
Make sure you enter the license key, hit the Update button on the right side of the screen, and when the page reloads click "Activate License"
I'm getting a 404 error or the [beatstore-2] shortcode / page for the Player doesn't load.
Go to your WordPress dashboard, click Settings->Permalinks, then make sure it's set to "Post name" and then be sure to click "Save Changes" at the bottom.
