YOU GET eight Flintpope samples, all chosen for sonic richness, and for their suggestion of a darker space in your music. Any one sample on its own works nicely, but you can go on to mix different combinations of sounds to create up to 64 different variations.
Owners of Flintpope Palette will be familiar with the process here but please note all the DARK samples are new.
DARK has a very small screen-footprint so you can use multiple instances and STILL see your DAW! How many can you open before you blot out Ableton?
There are eight rectangles at the top of the instrument, one of which is grey (this one is un-muted). Each one is a trigger for a sample. The tone changes from grey to varying lighter tones of grey to let you know which ones are in use.

CONTROLS
Each pad has a dedicated Gain and Pan dial.
Master controls are Attack, Release and Master Volume. There is an LFO with separate controls for Rate, Depth, Waveform, Destination and Source (try Expression as a Destination for peculiar results). There are three FX: Vinyl, Reverb and Pitch-shift.
