The VQA-154 is a rare and highly desirable four band equalizer module from the 1970s which made its way into many famous broadcasting and production studios worldwide. Its mid band filters are built around inductors and the fully discrete output stage drives a serious output transformer – this EQ comes with all the right ingredients for making it a prominent choice on your menu.

The plugin is a versatile and easy to use EQ which provides classy clean tones and pleasant coloration which always sound musical. Once the bands are turned up a bit, things will start to get interesting... the VQA-154 delivers a firm sound featuring interesting textures without ever turning harsh or bloated: The perfect blend between precision and character.

The VQA-154 comes with a full-fledged set of features making it the EQ of choice for many different sources, including a gain compensated drive control, continuous filter gains, linear output control as well as stereo, linked and mid/side operation modes. The signature interaction of gain and bandwidth is designed to become a crucial part of your personal sound shaping recipes.
