It is finally complete! Months in the making - MajorOSC.com has released the first full patch collection. You'll get 128 patches designed from scratch for the Novation Peak.
Shockwave is about expression, Interaction, and Inspiration. Every patch has a purpose. Each has a focused theme or idea. . A large portion of them have been specifically designed to provide the maximum amount of expression capabilities for the player, without the need to reach for knobs all the time. This means you'll come across tons of patches with multiple routings to velocity, aftertouch, the mod wheel, as well as the unique "animate" buttons on the Peak. Some patches you'll hear subtle tone variations or a simple tremelo / vibrato when using aftertouch, while other patches will change drastically with even the slightest modulation. Many patches will spring to life in various ways, such as opening the filter, doubling tempo, shifting wave tables, swapping audible waveforms, or increasing effects. The incredible capabilities of the Novation Peak have been the reason this Patch collection has been in development for as long as it has. There are so many interesting and creative possibilities. The end goal is that these patches bring out the best in you, the musician / producer / composer / performer. These are ready for performance, or recording. They've been checked in mixes. they've been adjusted meticulously to suit their intended purpose. Best of all, they can be yours to alter and adjust to your preferences! This isn't my day job. I'm doing this because I love synths, I love sound design, and I love music! If your main styles are EDM, RetroWave, or any synth-centric music, this patch collection is for you!

I hope you enjoy this hour long preview of the Shockwave collection. The melodies performed have all been recorded live. There's a few cover's of songs that I've been particularly inspired by. Those selections are as random as they come. The one thing they have in common; Good synths. Good music.
