This Phaseplant preset is a sample based glitch machine with random chopping, slicing, pitch bending, looping and 3x binaural instancing for maximum chaos.

While you can use this preset using the macros only with the only manual input being replacing the chosen sample to scramble, N-GLITCH GEN allows you to adjust the depth of the 3 main RANDOM modulators on the bottom. Disabling or lowering their depth allows for custom glitch behavior, which can be incredibly powerful when mapping the POSITION, SIZE and PITCH macros to an external hardware modulator (Or even a game controller if using live 11 with max4live).

ADJUST RANDOMIZATION DEPTH HERE:

N-GLITCH GEN is easy to use while offering quite the complexity in terms of how you use the individual macros. You can f.e. disable the randomization of the PITCH macro and control the pitch manually while the position and size of the sample is being randomly modulated for more intentional results. You could also FREEZE! the glitch position and retrigger the midi note, resulting in new unique glitchy loops every time you retrigger the midi note.

3X BINAURAL uses Phaseplants unique per-unison modulation to create binaural (strong left-right stereo placement) glitch results, especially useful when working with mono samples or wanting absolutey chaotic results.

?POSITION: Adjusts the position of the sample loop.

?PITCH: Adjusts the pitch of the sample.
?RND FREEZES: Randomly freezes the Modulators, causing the sampler to loop.
?FREEZE!: Manually freeze all modulators.
?CHAOS: Adjusts the speed of all modulators.
?3X BINAURAL: Mix in two seperate instances hardpanned left and right.
?OTT AMOUNT: Adjusts the OTT Amount, taming some of the crazier volume instabilities.
?OTT TIME: Adjusts the amount of OTT compression.

MODULATORS:
?POSITION Random Depth: Randomizes loop position.
?SIZE Random Depth: Randomizes loop size.
?PITCH Random Depth: Randomizes the sample pitch.
