BRING THE HEAT

VINTAGE HEAT radiates a warm and meaty sound character. Samples – lovingly handcrafted by the renowned New Zealand sample guru Goldbaby – draw directly from vinyl and vintage analog gear, zeroing in on phat beats and ultra-authentic grooves.

Combined with creative, modern recording techniques, and perfectly in tune with cutting-edge production standards, the resulting sounds are both instantly contemporary and soaked in vintage attitude.

FRESH OLD SCHOOL

• A fusion of vintage analog and digital hardware
• 51 MASCHINE and 77 BATTERY Kits packed with vintage sampled drum machines
• 1061 drum samples and 352 one shots to make your tracks sizzle

HI-TECH VINTAGE

For VINTAGE HEAT, audio was sent through a chain of pure analog outboard gear before being recorded with state-of-the-art converters into the digital domain. Synths included the Juno-6 and Korg MS-20, while the Roland TR-808 and EMU SP-12 were among the drum machines used. The audio signal chain consists of well-known studio standards such as the UBK Fatso and the Roland Space Echo, as well as collector’s items, like an Ampex valve half-inch tape machine from the legendary Ekadek studio.
