英文简介:
Take piano chords to the next level - learn how YOU can make your keyboard playing amazing with colorful, unique chords!
In our first course, Piano Building Blocks, we learned the 24 most common chords - the building blocks of all music. Most pop music can be played using those 24 common chords.
This course teaches you what to do when you encounter some of the exceptions to that rule. Sometimes a moment in a song will sound beautiful and unique because, instead of a plain major or minor chord, the composer used a "2" chord, or a "sus" chord, or maybe a "dim" chord. If you don't know what those symbols mean, you can't get the exact sound of the song that you were hoping for.
In simple language and easy-to-follow visual examples, you will learn how to play the special additions and variations to major and minor chords that often pop up in music today. You'll also learn how to use these variations to make your own playing style more interesting.
Don't forget to sign up for Piano Building Blocks: Learn the 24 Most Common Chords in conjunction with this course. "Additions & Variations" builds onto the foundation of that course. It's not required, but it will explain standard major and minor piano chords in much more detail than this course does. If you find you don't understand something in this video, just check out the "24 Most Common Chords" course and any confusion will clear right up.
