Maximal is a maximising peak limiter that allows you to get the most out of your sound.
Perfect for all kinds of studio use, from mixing and mastering, to single tracks and instuments. Using a lookahead brickwall peak limiter, along with a level automater, Maximal pushes your sounds loud.
Maximal is a lookahead peak limiter, with auto-make up gain, and adaptive release. This plugin will smoothly limit any peaks in the audio, and automatically increase the gain. Using our adaptive release technology, you can simply tell Maximal whether you want it to be fast or smooth, and it will do what's needed inside. You can use Maximal to catch rampant peaks in an audio recording, or you can use it to make your track loud - it's up to you how you push it.
The main changes for version 1.1.0 are:
Added 2x, 4x, 8x oversampling options to limiter.
Fixed bug where the 'liquid' exciter mode would sometimes output silence.
Fixed bug where the peak level meters would stop working in some situations.
